T- series engine is not compatible with Softail models.. The breather vent bolt location has been adjusted to the stock location, the stock style air cleaner back plates will bolt up to this engine.. Cylinder heads on the T-series long block engine are '99-'05 style. '06 models will require a set of '99-'05 style offset intake flanges.. The cylinder heads on this engine is specially machined to compensate for the non-stock cylinder length. That makes it compatible with the manifold and the throttle body with stock length intake runners..
